When setting up your deck using the deck building rules, you are instructed to draw a random basic weakness and add it to your deck. When drawing the card, are you supposed to know which card got added or do you not realize what it is until you have drawn it during the game (or looked at your deck after completing the first scenario and spending experience points)?

I add it face down, but that's just me, not a rule. But since there is the GRIM RULE (always do what is worst for you), without any other official advice I would say that it is more grim to not know what you are up to

Officially, you know all cards in your deck, so you can see what Basic Weakness you got.

It appears to be a very popular house rule already early in the game that you don't, though. But if you want rules as written, you see your Basic Weakness.

Wouldn't it be more fun to have it face down? Sleeve and add to your deck, and have a little more excitement anticipating what it could be?

I put mine facedown as I added it to my custom decks... but i took out the enemy weaknesses! Theyre too hard lol... anyone else feel like this? or am I being a baby

Officially you can know what it is after picking it at random. I add it without looking so I can be surprised
