Why the hell wasn't TR-8R Phasma?! If you're going to have a stormtrooper overpower the hero in a fight, why not make it the named stormtrooper!?

Quick and dirty. 3 layers of metal, some black, some red, no photography skills.

The only suggestion that I have is to "clean up" the black panels.

Mainly because I like clean imperial ships, and, it will add a nice contrast to the model.

Point remains her character could have been more interesting.

After seeing how strong that weapon was, and lets be honest, they really made a point of it this time round, not only would the viewer be amazed at her combat skills but OH MY GOD HER ARMOUR STOPPED SOMETHING.

TR8R does have a cool back story, and a history with Finn. It was detailed in the book "Before The Awakening", which focuses on Poe, Finn, and Rey. In fact, if you want to know how Rey got to be such a good pilot, that book will give the details.

Having said that: yes. It would have been much better for the movie for Phasma to have been the one to take out Finn.

And the chrome is actually taken from the plating of Sheev's personal ship so probably could stand up to the mighty bowcaster.

Considering how most family act after a rich relative has died, I imagine that the Moffs and Admirals were starting to fight over his stuff before he was even halfway down that shaft.
