Blood Bowl is back!

Human Ogre and Rat Ogre.

I like the Human Ogre and think the price is ok for GW but I'm not sure about the Rat Ogre, would need to see it from different angles but i think it's sad that it's a Forge World product.

I'm still waiting for Khorne to make a return. OR atleast give Slaaneesh and Tzeentch a team as well.

As far as I know there has not been a Khorne team in tabletop Blood Bowl ever. The Chaos gods that aren't Nurgle get lumped into the generic Chaos teams, which can be themed to any god you want. I have seen a great Tzeentch team on Facebook recently:

Oh come on! A bloodthirster can fly! Fow do you block that? :D

Great now I wanna field an all Slaanesh team: The Purgatory Pretty Boys.

Marauder (Lineman) None

Daemonette (Blitzer) Block, Dodge, Tackle

Ball grabber (Cathcher) ;) Catch, Sure Hands.

Mutant (special) Special

Sigvald the Magnificent (star player)

Ah yes, that roster. It is viewed with mixed feelings in the community, as many feel it doesn't quite represent the sources. The Savage Orc team from the dugout app does match their playstyle a bit, though.

Anyone around knowledgeable on skavens? Do I really want four gutter runners?

I'm sort of relearning the game by playing the computer version. And I can't seem to make skaven work.

Yes, and yes. You want 4 gutter runners because they break easily, 1 swear at least 1 is always MNG.

The actual key to Skaven is to get guard on those Storm Vermin (Blitzers) ASAP. Watch them work in combination with a couple dauntless wrestle GRs.

I love Rat Ogres, but most successful Skaven coaches skip them.

You can now buy the Rat-Ogre and Elv... i mean Griff Oberwald, really like Griff but I'm still not sure about the Rat-Ogre.

And i got my Dwarf team today, really like them perhaps even more so then the Skaven, and i like that the Blitzer and the Troll-Slyaer have changeable heads, that gives a little bit variety i hope they do more of this in coming team starters. Sad thing though it seems I can't get the Skaven/Dwarf pitch, i really hope they rerelease it.

Three teams finished as of today...my pitch is ...eh....almost halfway to playable.

Then "AHMAH RIDAY FO SUM FWOOTBALL"!!

Revive! My league sadly is very slow with 40k 8th edition out now taking up a lot of playtime for most members, but I set out to get together a full playset for myself. That for me means putting together about 4 teams which I can run in a "league" for play with people who don't have the game so I can have one off games with them, but also experience the progression aspect of the game.

My Orcs have been done for a while now (though recently upgraded with a standalone team to have full positionals). My "Khemri" are fully build and have some colour on them, although I tired myself of painting them by attempting to paint the whole batch of 16 (yeah that is a way to kill your motivation good by not making any visible progress). The next easy choice for me is a human team made from the base game players. For the final team I am not quite sure, yet. Underworld is very appealing to me as I can get the whole team done with just two boxes (+ a new Troll if I feel like it, but I might just have my Orc one stand out a bit) and then still have the option of building two different teams in the future. However these new Pro-Elves would provide something entirely new and could probably also stand in for Wood Elves...

Aynhow, for the human team I actually already painted something and came up with a team name. I had been watching a bunch of Stormcast Eternal painting videos, so I kind of wanted to paint something involving tons of gold. The team I will call "Eternal Warriors" and they will constantly play through all seasons I will ever do. To see just how ridiculous this concept looks, I painted up a Lineman and I have to say that I have not had this much fun painting a miniature in a while! So here is the result:
