How does everyone feel about the various iterations of tokenfeeding Manaroos and other faction-specific equivalents? They all have at least one.
Tomax Bren and his Cool Hand + Fleet Officer or the like had their day with a pair of Glaives - even generic Tie Shuttles got some love. The Decimator could be but is too expensive for 0 agility. The Lambda flails a bit when attempting and rarely earns the points it cost.
Rebels are a bit behind - go figure - just getting Rey and the release of Jyn Erso eminent. They have had Jan Ors and the rest, but not the right carrier until the VCX-100. Anyway, they have the tools enough to mimic but not honor Manaroo's effectiveness.
Calling it now, though, when the U-Wing lands (and pulls a 180-degree turn) with Jyn and Cassian Andor, the Rebels will see new life. I think the reminder from Worlds that Corran/Rebels can hang was well-timed.
Anyone have thoughts on this?
