Lita Chandler has shown up in the parlor. Nobody has had still the change to "Parley" with her, so she is a lone asset card standing just there by herself. There are lots of of ghouls in the Parlor. What happens if I play Dynamite Blast there? it says enemies and investigatos get 3 damage, but she is neither. Strict reading (unless I'm missing something) would mean she just shrugs it off, but it doesn't fell right.

Sorry I meant "Gathering" not "Gateway" in the topic header.
She is not an enemy nor an investigator, so if she's just sitting there, unclaimed, she takes no damage.
Funily enough this is close to how my first game ended.
Roland detonated a stick of dinamite in the cellar doing 3 damage to the ghoul king and both investigators and then with 1 wound remaining went all out close combat on the king: discarded his knife (+1 damage) and 3 cards while wendy added another for a total of +5 combat bonus. and sadly died as he drew the chaos token that dealt one damage if a ghoul was present. He went down fighting but atleast took the the monster down with him.
Edit: in hindisght he should have survived as he had that librarian dude asset still with him who could have taken a wound for him.
