I have a doubt about the position, I know If I go at speed 3 for example and I crash with other ship I need to put the ship at the second position in the navigation bar, but in this case is legal to overlap the manouver tool?

I remember to read that somewhere but I no remember.

In brief, yes, that is correct.

If you overlap another ship in your final position, you leave the maneuver tool in place and back off your ship to the next lower speed. It may overlap the maneuver template at the slower speed--this is the only time that it is legal to overlap the movement template.

If a ship executes a maneuver and its final position

would overlap another ship, it cannot finish its maneuver

normally. Instead, temporarily reduce its speed by one

(without changing the speed dial) and move the ship at the

new speed. This process continues until the ship can finish

its maneuver, even if that maneuver is to remain in place

at speed “0.” Then deal one facedown damage card to the

ship that moved and the closest ship that it overlapped.

If a ship must execute a maneuver at a reduced speed

due to overlapping another ship, it is allowed to overlap

the maneuver tool in its final position.
