So did anybody notice the Hammerhead Nebulon-B that is directly beside that circle in the photo?
Isn't the engine compartment the wrong shape for a Neb-B?

Yep, that's a Hammerhead Corvette:

One of several in that fleet. Much discussion has been had about them... Almost as much as the mystery pods.

Hey ya'll, new here, came for this post. I knew almost immediately that I recognized the silhouette from my Rebellion days. I'm pretty sure that's a Dauntless-class Heavy Cruiser. Hits the fin, tower, and general shape.

I'd add a photo but I don't think it's letting me since I'm new?

I agree is a Dauntless classs but not the orginal model mabye a new variant or a remake of the orginal like both ships not all rebels ships have to be MC criuser hope we see some rebel venators in rebels XD tired of the MC line

The ship is a MC75 Cruiser, I expect we will end up seeing it in a future wave.
Hahah but thats the same problem in Return of the Jedi. Many died, we dont know who they are or how many or even how they died. Lol

Calling a Star Wars Bothan movie now.

As a Large ship though (being as it's about the same length as an MC80) or will they fudge the size a little and make it Medium - since it's an earlier MC number and the Rebels only have one Medium?

Considering the current MC80s are straddling the size for a medium model anyway, I hope the MC75 ends up being a medium. I want more choices than the AFII.
I'm hoping for medium, but since the Profundity is actually 4.44 meters longer than an MC80, I am expecting it to be large.

Wow, didn't realize it was that big. It certainly doesn't look that big in the movie...huh.
Wonder if the Visual Guide will bother to explain why it's so aesthetically different from the other Mon Cal ships...

"Raddus was ostracized by his fellow Mon Calamari for not appreciating the sacred ancestral 'pustule' design of their ships, and was banished to the Rebellion with his "accursed, boxy design" Profundity years before the greater Mon Calamari decided to join the Rebellion themselves".

I have a sneaking suspicion that the size is going to go down as more sources come out. It looks nowhere that large in the stills.

My guess is that it's half Mon Calamari. They rushed half the hull off to the Rebellion or the Rebellion stole it so they jury rigged the back half.

They've published the size in the Rogue One Ultimate Visual Guide . I seriously doubt they'll backtrack in future publications.

Well the ship did have a Seperatist kind of feel to it so maybe the Quarrens, the ones responsible for alot of those designs, helped make the MC75.
"This ship doesn't look mon calamari!"
Guys, what were you expecting? A space cucumber with even more warts? The MC75 isn't any less Mon Calamari than the MC30's single rear tailfin. Profundity is a smooth shape with some blisters and a couple of noteworthy structures, very similar to the Liberty with it's wings in this respect. It's Mon Calamari enough to me.
In fact you could call Profundity a bridge between the Invisible Hand and Home One. Considering some Legends sources saying the Hand was a mon calamari construction, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the intent.
I'm digging it.... Too bad no new imperial capitals...

A bothan movie would lose all of its main characters in the opening crawl.
I'm sure we'll see the MC75 some day... though it would be fitting to see at least one new Imperial ship tied to the new movie to balance it out thematically. There's no shortage of Legends ships, but it's not like X-Wing's "Rogue One" wave with the U-Wing and TIE Striker.
Too bad the Rebels can't seem to hold onto a flagship though.

Maybe because the Empire always plays Most Wanted as their objective?

I'm pretty sure that the Rebels, as first player, picked Hyperspace Assault for this one.
