I noticed that the COTDP has been released again. the Updates section of the forum shows that the expansion is 'updated'; does this mean that the wording on the cards has been fixed/re worded or does it simply mean that the status of the expansion release has been updated?

if the former then i'll be buying it again but if the latter then a curse on the dark pharoh set it is indeed

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Most likely it is the status of the original version's availability.

Tibs is right, I got that confirmed by FFG at some stage : every reprint is just to get new stock. No change ever, that would cost too much and take too long for so few.

All the cards that answered themselves (private eye: you can allow another investigator to enter a barred location actually means "another investigator") I tried to remember. Cards that were flat-out wrong I actually printed out and pasted over with new encounters to fix them.

• The encounter at the Train Station where you make a luck check to draw unique items, then "do the same thing" if you fail the check for common items now actually says to discard another item and make another luck check. I used Kevin's exact wording in his response.
• The Inner Sanctum encounter says "Mask of the Three Fates" instead of "Triune"
• At the Newspaper, the monster hunter offers you $2 or one clue per monster toughness, instead of vice-versa.

While I'm thinking of it, I changed the base game Police Station encounter to say that Dingby left his .38 Revolver instead of .45 Revolver, or whatever it said.
