Going to start off on a small personal rant here I'll put a line under it to show where it ends for people who wanna skip it.

I'm wanting to get into the local tourny scene so I've been trying my hand with palp defenders and palpaces but it doesn't seem to matter how well tokened up a ship is it under my control it just seems to crumple up and die. With all the people that talk about how hard it is to take one of those ships down nothing seems to work to keep them alive when they get shot at. I'm known at my FLGS as having the most incredible unlucky rolls when defending, and it isn't hyperbole, it isn't me just remembering the bad rolls over the good, my dice aren't poorly weighted (as much as I wish they were. I did the salt water test), I just simply will fail to roll even an average roll with my dice. It doesn't help that there is a guy who I play with a bunch that has gotten perfect evade rolls against me for entire games and just simply has better rolls than me it is feels very discouraging and makes me very frustrated and just simply angry at myself because it just seems like every list I try that tries to focus on defense and arc dodging just hopelessly withers and burns. I would say I'm lower-middle average at piloting my ships and I know I make mistakes with moves or over/underestimating what move I should do and I try to learn from my piloting mistakes and try to ask people what I could have done to do better with some helpful insight that I'm grateful for but it usually ends with "....but your dice were simply against you". I've had a very positive outlook at it since it is simply a game and a game that I feel is pretty fun, we even joke about how how bad my rolls can be at times and there is another guy who seems to have the same situation as me just with red dice (we had a 2 hour game where nothing was wounded aside from maybe a shield on my decimator because of bad rolls on everything) and we talk about how nothing of his will hit but my ships would still die because of it. But its been almost a year of my green dice simply being against me and I'm getting legitimately angry and upset about it and just no longer having fun with the game because of it. I don't know if I just need some time off from it or what but there is a limit to how long i can tolerate getting kicked in the teeth over and over.

Anyone have any idea on a start to making a list that pretty much ignores rolling green dice and just goes with the super offensive attack for imperials? A type of suicide black list for those who have played Magic the gathering long enough. I'm a big fan of the decimator in general and the patrol leader +gunner+vader setup, and expose on RAC. But are there any other types of Imperial list that players have been having a good track record of super agressive damage dealing out there?
There was a double decimator thing going on before I started to play but I don't have a 2nd one, I also don't like to buy ships from outside imperials. Here is a list of what i currently have to give people an idea of what I am use to flying. (I am perfectly fine and do use proxies from time to time) And I also love ace ordnance based list

Ideally I wanna try a firespray +decimator list but they are very expensive to put both upgrade to a usable level and the firespray is pretty much dead. I'm super excited about the upsilon because I can do this (dial permitting)

Dormitz +fcs+EU+gunner+Operation specialist+Hyper commscanner+ hyper commscanner
Both elect to go ps 12 and set dormitz up first by the edge then kylo ren in front and to the side giving ren 2 evade tokens. Dormitz zooms forward (assuming speed 3 is max speed for the upsilon) and coords kylo to expose. Kylo zooms forward and boost as well for a solid range 1-2 shot with a 5/6 dice buzzsaw combo of gunner +TL +focus then Dormitz might get a range 3 shot of the same deal for 9 to 10 gunner +TL +focus shots. The kylo circles around with dormitz way behind to cover each other. But can't do that yet.
Maybe a RAC with a bomber support for ions/stress or shield shedding? I'll take anything for a super agressive damage dealing imperial list.
