So I was disappointed with the tie advanced not getting spoiled in the past squadron article for CC, and I have been waiting for something about the tie advanced squadrons, but nothing yet. I just really want an escort as durable as Darth Vader but not quite as expensive. I'm thinking something a long the lines of 4 blue dice counter-1 and two braces coming in at 18 points, that is kinda my dream squadron right now, but what do y'all think, you can also comment about the forgotten y-wings and will these fighters be spoiled before CC hits stores or will it be a surprise for us when we open the box?

Well waves 3 and 4 they spoiled everything, so maybe more previews yet to come.

But wave 2 they left a couple of cards unspoiled till release (or at least when game shop guys broke open the sullust packs early....)

I can see pop's special ability. If attacked from the front or sides, subtract 1 from the total damage before taking damage. Not valid if attacked from behind.

Gonna be green squadron.

As much as Phoenix Squadron would be funny as a bunch of redshirts, Green Squadron (A-Wings with Bomber, perhaps?) would be cool too. Those fighters can carry missiles, and Green Squadron made attacks runs on Star Destroyers in the Battle of Endor.

Which would be awesome. Except fighters don't have a Behind.

I forgot the A-wing was missing I would like to see A-wing green squadrons no counter, but have bomber, and the ability when this squadron is destroyed you may deal one face-up damage to an enemy ship within distance one. with no counter you could take it out with no fear of retaliation, but its going to hit your ships if its to close and also thematic and think its kinda cool deterrent for attacking them.

Love the concept but I would put any amount of money on the Awings being Pheonix Squadron.

A-Wings just cannot be bombers... They are way too light, no matter what.

Like we theorized last night with local players, it could be they didn't spoil them immediately because they have the new keywords. Possibly the advanced with strategic, the Y-Wing ace with relay or something.

Merek Steele is now officially in wave 5. So unless they pull a fast one, well see a new character. Based on the X-Wing pilots, I'm guessing either The Inquisitor (TIE Advanced prototype, bonus damage), or probably Juno Eclipse (Rogue). I can't imagine them creating two squadrons with the same pilot. Of The two, I'd lean toward Inquisitor simply because he's a wholly owned Disney character. Juno is one of the note interesting video Gagne EU characters, having been a bodyguard of Darth Vader forced into hiding when Vader decides to act against the Emperor in the Force Unleashed video games.

I don't mention the Y-wings, but that's because after the Clone Wars cartoon nobody cares about trilogy Y-Wings.
