I had seen recently on these forums that some people were working on an Iphone app for rolling Warhammer 3e dice. Did this ever get completed and if so, where can I get it?

That would be neat if one is out there.

Are you being serious? If so, is there any way for others to get a copy? Are you going to make it public at all?

It's not a real iPhone app, just a Javascript app optimised for iPhone use (layout, iPhone-specific metas, touchend instead of onclick etc). I don't have an iPhone myself so I haven't been able to test it to my satisfaction. There are a number of outstanding issues:

1. Rolling the dice was rather slow on iPhone. I've implemented a possible fix (redoing all the images) but I haven't tested it.
2. The dice-count buttons are a bit small unless you have tiny fingers. Probably usable, but not ideal.
3. I wrote it thinking that you'd never have more than seven of each dice type, but it's quite possible with misfortune.
4. The dice rolling could do with audio feedback, but I'm not sure what methods would work on an iPhone.

There's also a separate success/boon probability calculator, but it's not designed for mobiles.

Oh, forgot to mention. If you launch the page "as an app" rather than through Safari, it removes the window chrome so that you can actually see the entire interface.
