So lets say I used kylo ren to put blinded pilot on a ship and get a crit through.
Could I just keep using saboteur to keep that ship permently blinded (dice willing)?

If a ship has multiple face down damage cards on them and I know one of them is blinded pilot how do I pick cards randomly? What is the "randomly picking a card" mechanic in X-wing?
1: Yes, you could. This would be a really bad use of your actions, most likely.
2: There's no explicit rule about it (and honestly I don't think there should be) but if they're all face down I don't think you're supposed to know which is which. If I were a TO I'd rule that your opponent should shuffle the face down damage cards on the ship concerned together out of your view, then hold them out and get you to pick one.

Why? IMO that idea sounds extremely fun.
Decimator with Palp and Sab and EU (for better positioning into R1) and title (for no need to worry about bumping and actions) and Upsilon shuttle with Kylo and their Coordinate action and every turn you are almost 100% that the enemy is going to suffer the No attacking problem. At least one of the enemies. And it is enough that the enemy ONCE does suffer a critical result (even into shields!).
That is killing most of 2 ship lists (maybe besides those that are very mobile, like Dash, but on the other hand if you use low PS ships you can move before them and trigger sab without additional issues and the enemy is not attacking. Even Gunner will not help in case of the new damage deck (am I right?), but Dengars return fire is unaffected.
This means that an enemy ship may be running around with not more than one shot through the whole match...
EDIT: Moreover, later in the game you may ensure with Kylo that none other cards are dealt as facedown, reducing any luck factor to almost none..

*shrug* all that ship has to do is run out of range for a turn or two.
And if you're using your crew, your actions and PALP on Saboteur...
Well, I'm totally fine with that, my other ships will kill you to death whilst you waste your time on that.
I am using Actions to stop one of your ships from attacking and I am doing that in the activation phase, before your chance to shoot so even if you escape for turn or two then you have to come back to shot, but you won't...
Plus, PWT on Deci plus 4 dice Shuttle will do good being able to shot at your other ship(s).
Definitely, this is best to tackle two ships lists, but hello - this is rather for fun list than top tier new meta defining list...
