Eye Candy

By Luddite, in Mutant Chronicles

So does anyone have pictures of their painted figures they could post up?

I'd love to see some of these rather marvellous figures painted up by you guys. (Unless they come pre-painted?)

I've painted that big dude with the hammer, but I guess I can't attach a photo directly...or can I?

No i don't think you can. i guess you'd have to host it at something like photobucket and link it over... preocupado.gif

they are pre-painted. though someone did a really nice convo and paint job of a silver ezzy and posted it on the old boards. No link that i know of, sorry.

Dominik-

Did you paint directly over the factory coat, or did you strip and re-prime Ezoghoul before repainting him?

amazing work Neu!

I would like a 50/50 wash of Dirt / black ink over the blood on the ground and the surrounding rock.

The sculpt is fantastic and inspiring. Post others!

I just painted over the factory coat. Most of it, i used the new citadel washes and some master paints from reaper.

Neuicon-

Amazing work on that Ezo, it looks pretty terrifying. I'll ask someone to turn mine into something like that XD.

May I ask you 'bout were did you got the other pieces for it?

Not reprints per se, but I did get a new mini photo studio for xmas, so I've been experimenting with my MC figs...

Venusians from the Warp

SUH-WEET PHOTO!!! So if you don't mind me asking, what did you use? I've been wanting to put up an eye-catching poster to advertise my game demos and possibly starting a campaign. Is it a user friendly program, or good for novices? Thanks for posting

Thanks. I use Photoshop (Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0), but there is freeware named paint.net that is very similar. If you've never used layers before, it might take some getting used to, but if you have, Elements is about 10 times easier than photoshop proper.

Since I don't have the concentration to paint the figures the old fashioned way, I figured I would do so digitally instead. happy.gif

Yup, cool pic indeed ! Can't wait to see new ones !

Sweet. happy.gif
