As I don't have the benefit of tournament play and only casual matches, I've been beginning to think about new ways to "chain" actions together.

Specifically, I've been thinking about the TIE Phantom (or any small ship with illicit upgrades) with the Stygium Particle Accelerator upgrade.

I understand that decloaking is not considered an action, but my question is on the "free evade action" part of this. If I had Experimental Interface or Push the Limit, could I then immediately trigger a different action? I've just been thinking about some new possibilities outside of the "traditional" reveal maneuver, do action sequence...thanks for your help .

Any time you perform an action, it may be a trigger for Experimental Interface or Push the Limit. Your only limiting factor is if you're stressed, because free action or not, you still can't perform an action while you're stressed.

Hi, yes, I tried out a few combos with SPA a while ago, but unfortunately the Phantom dial has little green on it, so that stress can be a real problem.

If you like odd timings on your action triggers, I strongly recommend a Decimator with PTL, EU, and Isard. Free action at the beginning of combat, which you use to ptl-boost. PS be damned - you get to move in the combat phase

Guri (30)

+ Cloaking Device (2)

+ Stygium Particle Accelerator (2)

+ Fire-Control System (2)

+ Push the Limit (3)

1. Decloak

2. Perform a free Evade action

3. Push the Limit for a Boost or Barrel Roll

4. Perform green maneuver to clear stress

5. Perform whichever wasn't chosen in step 3

6. Receive free Focus token at start of combat

7. Receive free Target Lock after shooting

Congratulations: in a single round you have performed a (de)Cloak, Evade, Boost, Barrel Roll, Focus, and Target Lock!
