Does Quickdraw gets the free attack right after losing a shield from the first TLT shot?... or after the second TLT shot? It just says "after losing a shield" not when defending, etc. Also, in case the first option is confirmed, if Quickdraw's attack destroys the TLT ship, is the second TLT shot lost?
Quickdraw Vs TLT
Quickdraw could attack between TLT shots.
I'm not 100% sure what would happen if the ship with TLT was destroyed before making it's second shot. The timing chart doesn't really cover what happens in this case.
I think that the TLT ship would be destroyed and removed from the table without getting to take its second shot but that opens up a huge can of worms for how to resolve everything else that happens after box 7 of the TLT's first shot.
Edited by WWHSDI think you'd hit the "Is this the first attack from a secondary weapon that says 'Perform this attack twice'" box, you'd follow the "yes" arrow and get to the bit where you determine the dice to roll. Since there is no longer an attacker for box two, you'd fall through until you got back to the "Is this the first attack from a secondary weapon that says 'Perform this attack twice'" box, this time you'd choose "no". Any cards and ships that are still in play could activate as long as they don't require the existence of "the attacker" to determine if they can trigger.
Yeah, that was totally me having no internal monologue while posting on an Internet forum.
Quickdraw was faq'd to happen at the usual "after attack" effects if she loses a shield mid attack like this.
She does it at the same step Dengar does.
In the case of TLTs, after the 2nd attack since "perform this attack twice" doesnt trigger after attacking effects on the first strike, and Quickdraw was faq'd to be included in those effects for such a situation.

OK, should have read the FAQ until the end, just stopped after the timing chart...

DOH! Can't believe I missed that.
anyway it would fall under simultaneous attack wouldn't it? so the TLT would be able to fire a second shot anyway

It's becoming hard to keep up with the FAQ. I still think it's weird to have different phrasing that end up meaning the same thing or having the same timing. Quickdraw is not quick enough it seems...

Simultaneous attack wouldn't even really apply here even if the TLT carrier was also PS9.

Even under the old rules without the timing chart, once something was triggered, it would still resolve even if the ship was destroyed before that resolution was completed.
My first instinct was the TLT would still get its second attack because it had already been triggered, and the timing chart just reinforces that.
