My goal here is to create a competative list that has 4 ships. A list that makes my opponent struggle with target priority and has multiple ways to beat you. One of my concerns is the heavy scyk with just the mangler... And all three games I have played people just ignore the Binayre Pirate... I have a different version where I use Old T. and just a syndicate thug instead but for some reason I am attracted to Kavil right now. Any input please!

I honestly don't think there's much you can do to make a viable 4 ship list where you have to have Kavil, Fenn Rau, and try not to have a Binayre Pirate. It's mostly going to be 3 viable ships and putting in the Pirate with BMST, which still can be annoying to PTL users and Zuckuss users.

Best I could come up with is this at 100 pts:

Fenn Rau 32 pts w/ Attanni Mindlink, Autothrusters, Concord Dawn Protector

Kavil 28 pts w/ Attanni Mindlink, Autoblaster Turret, Unhinged Astromech

Palob Godalhi 27 pts w/ Attanni Mindlink, TLT

Binayre Pirate 13 pts w/ Black Market Slicer Tools

Mindlink gives you better action economy across your whole list, a token stealer with Palob, and some nasty range 1 hits from both Fenn Rau and Kavil. I really wanted to fit in Vectored Thrusters on Kavil, but then you'll likely just have a naked Binayre Pirate which won't do much these days. I think with Attanni Mindlink, more greens on the dial for Kavil is better than squeezing in Vectored Thrusters at the cost of downgrading Palob's turret or losing BMSTs.

Also if you go with mindlinks, Kaa'to is a good choise to provide focus for everyone. Now Z-95 is useful on a list.

Feedback array on Z might be better in this situation than BMST, as the Z creates a no fly zone, then they have to not ignore him and maybe waste actions on boosting and b-rolling?

The Kavil Four

Like Rstan above, also made a mindlink list, as it keeps cost down while improving the action economy. Two mangler Scyks that will have a focus for both offense and defense. Kavil with TLT is never a good thing to see across from the table.

And last but no least is mindlink K'aato with cluster missiles. He can put the hurt on low PS ships. He moves and TLs. Mindlink gives him a focus. Then he steals a friends focus with ability, giving him double focus for his clusters, plus chips. Not too shabby and definitely not someone to ignore.
