My bet is that you'll have to take 77 points minimum of actual ships, limiting upgrade cards to a maximum of 23 points. That would also hugely change the meta.

Would make sense when you consider that 4x TLT cost 24 points

These are very good observations. Best guess yet!

- Defenders would mostly be unaffected though

- Would bring back TIE swarm ?

- Large ships are affected most

- Penalizes expensive upgrades : HLC, Munitions, Palpatine, Punishing One, Gunner, Finn, Heavy Scyk

- Mindlink lists aren't affected much

The meta might become > 50% Defenders & Mindlink. It could only be a niche format.

Yes that is right. The ships were designed based on the normal 100 point system, FFG did not consider other play systems. I don't think imbalancies can be avoided, independent of the new system. But also this sub-metas can be very divers.

Furthermore, maybe there will be additional rules not just one to avoid a small meta

Maybe a good way to balance the meta a bit if they would ever enforce it widely.

It would put a huge damper on dengaroo. Slight effect to palp aces.
