X-Wing Format: You are the Pilot

By CBMarkham, in X-Wing

Call Sign: "Sour Skittle"

Ship Name: "The Black Mambaaaaa"

T-70 X-Wing

Blue Squadron Novice (24)

PLT (3)

R2 Astro (1)

Pattern Analyzer (2)

Integrated Astro (0)

Total:30 points

Lots of green to PTL/PA Focus/TL without stress.......and....I like the T-70's

Unfortunately, you're two or three points under costed.

Either you take the Red Squadron to bump this build up to 32pts (you probably have to remove the pattern analyzer) or you need to spend 3 points getting up to PS4 (2pts) and then buying an EPT slot (1pt).

Right you are! My mistake.

Callsign: Nancy

Ship: Orthrus

Gamma Squadron Veteran (19)

Homing Missiles (5)

Plasma Torpedoes (3)

Extra Munitions (2)

Guidance Chips (0)

Crackshot (1)

Part of the Imperial Army ground support Wing. I tried to make a Cutlass Squadron pilot, but it's too pricey for less bang.

Callsign: Reckless

Ship: Protectorate Starfighter 23

Concord Dawn Ace: PS 5

Title +1

Autothrusters +2

Adaptability (increase) 0

+1 PS +2

+1 PS +2

PS 8 Scum Interceptor. I wanted to play Scum when I first started this game, but moved to the Empire as they had the ships I wanted to fly, namely Interceptors. I wasn't very good in them but that didn't stop me. Fast forward to now and I cannot get me enough of Fenn Wow! He is so freaking awesome if you can fly him right.

I was going to choose a stereotypical Australian callsign, but decided not to. Interesting thread!

Start with a Delta Squadron Pilot (30) PS1...

Since I am a piss-poor pilot IRL, pilot skill will be upped to a whopping... 1... yep.

Total so far: (30)

EPT point (for the computer) (1) and Equip Outmanever EPT (3pts) (34pts Total)
Add TIE MKII (1) (35pts total)
TIE/D (0) (35pts total)
And a tractor beam. (1) (36pts total)
And now we have:
Delta Squadron Pilot (21) (Pilot Skill 1)
Call Sign: Milquetoast
Ship Name: Lamito
Outmaneuver (3)
TIE/D (4)
TIE MK2 (2)
Tractor Beam (0)
Total: 36
That'd be me if I were a pilot. Flying a shiny ship to compensate for my lack of spacial awareness. ^_^
Edit: I'd toss all the extra points out just for a Trait to simulate leaning out of the cockpit and firing at them manually.
All those years ago, in one of my first games, my brother ended up stun-locked, on 1 hp, and facing the wrong direction in his X-Wing. He described rolling down the window and firing a hand-blaster at the incoming ship with all of his rage in such a hilarious way that I let him roll a single die.
It hit.
It didn't save him, but it was so funny that I've remembered it all these years as one of the most hilarious moments in my gaming experience.

I kind of like this format purely for a RP aspect.
