So I have a casual tournament coming up next weekend, and I have cut down my list ideas to 2 (I think having so many lists to choose from is part of what made my last post die).

List 1

Dash

PtL, HLC, title, Kanan, EU

Lothal Rebel

FCS, autoblaster turret, Han, Hera

List 2

Poe (ps9)

PtL, R5-P9, Pattern Analyzer, autothrusters, title

Rey

VI, Finn, Kanan, sloop title

I'm pretty sure I will be facing some Dengaroo players trying to imitate worlds, as well as some Palp aces and some attempts at ordinance lists. I think both these lists can hold their own, but which do you think is better? I feel like Dash and Lothal can answer aces better, and in the face of Dengar the Lothal Rebel can just eat a few Dengar shots if it's necessary. The Poe Rey list on the other hand is fun and new, and can outmaneuver other lists, but I really wish I could fit an EU on Rey while keeping Poe...

Anyway, any thought or feedback?

PS: I like keeping the title on Poe, especially to shake locks if I'm against Vader or LRS squads, and autothristers is my personal crutch, but should I drop them for the EU on Rey?

Honestly, I think the first list is probably stronger against what you are expecting, especially if you are good at keeping enemy ships out of Dash's donut hole.

Vs. Dengaroo: Dengaroo will have a bid and give you initiative. So Dengar moves after Poe. Even though Dengar is likely to be stressed and can't barrel roll in response to your movement, you likewise can't boost to dodge his arc either. Dengar moves before Rey, so he will be trying to block her.

Vs. Aces: True Aces are PS9+, and you will have the same problems as above. But you are more likely to face Palp Defenders, I suspect. Again, I think the Dash/Lothal build is stronger against Palp Defenders. Poe doesn't have the punch to get through TIE/x7 defenses.

But it comes down to which you will enjoy playing more, really.

If you decide you want Rey/Poe, here's how you can get EU on Rey without hurting the build too much:

Poe + BB-8 + PTL + title + Primed Thrusters + Integrated Astromech

Rey + VI + Finn + Kanan + title + EU

I think BB-8 is stronger than R5-P9 currently, especially against things like Dengaroo or TIE/D Defenders, and against your own Dash/Lothal build as well. Also, if you face any sort of tractor beams, BB-8 can often get you off of the rock that your opponent put you on last turn so that you still get your actions (as long as the barrel roll doesn't go through the obstacle).
