There are two fan scenarios out there. How come there is such a lack of scenario authorship out there right now? It seems like with WFRP2, we were getting dozens.

Well in my case, as I imagine for others the reasons are:
I am almost done writing up my introductory adventure. I am writing a lengthy campaign (hopefully much of it open ended) to showcase the setting to several new players. The plan is to introduce all the standard tropes of the setting: greenskins, beastmen, cultists, the "enemy within", political machinations, demons, skaven, etc. etc. etc. The first chapter is a simple, linear, combat and general system focused adventure. Chapter opens up the main campaign, and so on.
I'll have chapter one in a useable format sometime in the next 4-15 days (depending on how much time I get to work on it).
It's also the holiday season. I think that most people are still entangled with relatives and getting to now the game. I had a concept for a small puzzle-adventure but as I made the mistake of letting my players booze up during the came (we were at a summer cabin and it was like -20 Celsius outside) so we kinda didn't finish it.
So it still needs playtesting and naturally writing down.
And in the case of many of us not in the US, we haven't got it yet, so we can't.
while its not a new campaign i have been fervently reading the campaign path of the damned and trying to find ways to make it fit with the 3e rules. I just like most people have been side tracked with holiday plans and spending time with family and friends amd all that lovely stuff. while i had no thoughts in sharing my rantings over the rulings listed in the 2e books and try to make them some sort of understandable for the masses. I also have been waiting to see what more officially is being released(in plain black and white not cool cryptic text) so that i can plan my works around them.
I am going to run a converted oldenhaller contract tonight, and if it goes well will write it up and post it about the place.
Cheers
Iain

The game is barely out and we already have 2 fan scenarios. That's a lot for such a short period of time. WFRP2 had dozens because a lot of people already had their scenarios written up for v1, they just had to convert them to v2. Another reason we had so many fan scenarios was the scenario competitions run by BI every year. They made all of the submissions available on their website (unlike FFG, who only gave us the top three entries for their DH competition).

This is me - won't get the core set for another 2-3 weeks and the toolkit a week after that. Time to learn the game, play it, play the campaign (which may well be out by the time I get the first lot done).
Cripes, could be mid-year by the time I need to think about producing anything. 3 cheers for the early adopters tho'
I'm in the process of filling out the other colleges of magic as well as adding high magic and the lore of the woods so that elven players in my campaign can be magic users (as well as the corresponding basic careers).
After that I plan on putting pen to paper for my first scenario which is essentially a delivery mission with a few twists involved. I will have it on my website available to download.
Well, in any case, I'd be happy to give feedback on anybody that wants to write a new one.
