TLT/accuracy corrector and Revealing a red move while stressed

By TgLoki, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Hi all 2 completely different questions for you.

1, When using tlt can you accuracy corrector both srts of dice or is it now only once per whole attack?

2, According to the new faq if someone reveals a red manoeuvre whilst stressed the player just peforms a white 2 forward instead of his opposition picking a move. Does this also apply for the crit that states aplayer cannot peform straight moves? If a player is dealt this crit and then forgets and peforms a straigh manoeuvre, what is the punishment?

Thanks in advanced.

1: both attacks. Only declare target and after attacking stuff is limited to once per tlt, generally.

2: Nothing. The crit prevents them assigning a straight, not performing one.

1. Yes, you can use it on each attack, but it will only help establish a "hit", and a successful hit will still only do 1 damage.

2. That's a bit trickier. The Damage card states you cannot perform straight manoeuvres, and "cannot" generally trumps everything. Might be a good question for FFG.

Thankyou both. Yeah I picked up that crit the other night and it made me wonder if it was to be treated the same as the new stress rules, but in doing so you could easily cheat the system to still peform a straight. Its an odd one.

Well 2 straight is green on almost every ship in the game, so turning it white because reveal limits isn't the WORST thing in the world? One was definitely written without the other in mind.

I would assume that if you had set a straight maneuver while having the Shaken Pilot crit than your opponent would set a legal move on your dial but I could 't find where in the rules (or FAQ) that it says that.

The current FAQ still has your opponent setting your dial for you if you had the incorrect dial assigned to your ship and that dial was set to a maneuver with a speed and bearing combination that is not present on the correct dial.

Thar entry of the new FAQ only applies to assigning a red maneuver while stressed. Other kind of illegal maneuvers/dial assignations remains the same as before: the opponent chooses a legal maneuver to the ship to perform

2. It's. It perform, it's assign a straight maneuver. So the 2 straight from stressed isn't assigneded so itll work

My bad, didn't have the card in front of me. But that does make logical sense. :)

I think that you are answering a question other than what is being asked. OP doesn't seem to be asking what happens if he has stress and sets a red while having Shaken Pilot, he's asking what happens if he has Shaken Pilot and sets a straight maneuver.

Ah, right.

Yeah, in that instance the opponent gets to set the dial, I believe, to a legal move, the same way red-whilst-stressed used to work.
