I have a question. Why the assault frigate rather than any other ship?

Knowing JJ, it was this. Flight Controllers are a pretty big part of the list. Imperial players tend to take it for granted because they have good platforms, but flight controllers are a very good boost. As a Rebel, you don't exactly have a lot of choices. You either have to go with the AFII or a Liberty (likely title and all). They're not great choices unless you build it just right.

I find it anusing that at the beginning of the year I was talking to JJ about designing a card that would make squadrons builds more viable. I'm pretty sure he's not gonna go with that card now.

It was both for flight controllers and for a sturdy admiral ship. I needed somthing for my opponents to try to kill which could take a hit or two.
