Hi Folks!

I need your help please.

I was looking over the latest FAQ when I noticed something that stunned me. Under "Spending Tokes" on Page 6 of the latest FAQ (Version 4.2.3) it states:

"Focus, evade, and target lock tokens cannot be spent for their normal effect more than once during the "Modify Attack Dice" and "Modify Defense Dice" steps. For example, a ship cannot spend 2 evade tokens to add 2 evade results. However, a ship can spend more than 1 of each token on different effects, such as spending 1 focus token as the cost for Calculation and another focus token focus token for its inherent effect."

So in effect, with one of my favourite builds, using Lando (crew) with C-3PO and Push the Limit doesn't (if I were to get 2 evades for Lando and guess that result) allow me to use the 4 Evade tokens that I now have for an attack? I can only use these 4 evade tokens for 4 separate attacks? Or put another way, if only one ship can attack me, I have "wasted" 3 evade tokens???

(There's currently no other way to spend them)

C3PO adds an evade result (literally a die with an evade) so you can still use him and an evade action/Lando action to grt an evade. You are correct that if you took the Evade action and then got 2 evades from Lando you can't spend all those evades against a single attack but I'd imagine your Falcon is going to be the target if multiple ships so can spend one for each ship attack (or Dengar double tap etc)

You might be better off trying a build that maximises focus tokens instead. You can still spend only one for its inherent effect per attack, but it can change more results than an evade token.
