I'm curious. for folks at worlds: were there any calls made on commonly declared issues that have not been addressed in the FAQ?
world's rulings?
I talked to ian because of some rules. And he had a talk to dev.
First was g8 and when you have to use it. It was intended than the g8 has to be used before you enter the determination course step, but you are already in it. This way it works on the engine techs but has to be used before any navigate command is used.
Second question were the veteran gunnners and the interaction with the Resolve Attack Effects. He saw the problem and it might be said soon in an faq. It was intended that you can do all the dots in any order and ad often as you want.
So you can spend an accuracy, reroll the remaining, and spend another accuracy after the reroll.
Last ruling was bomber command center. It does stack (as most already knew and was clear). It just came up when one of my opponents was asking the judge, because he didnt know.

I always thougt that spend accuracy was the last thing you could during the resolve attack effects step. I don't know why I thought I must resolve the rerroll and add effects before accuracies... why it didn't came up with Vader?
One question: to spend accuracy icons means to spend the dice where they are?
One of the rulings I got at a table was not one I think that would stick around because it introduces other problems. I forgot to set a dial on a Gozanti. The Judge ruled that the ship simply had no command for that turn. On a 3 Command ship, that ruling would mean you could fail to set a bottom dial and get the advantage of setting 2 of your commands on the next turn. More typically I would expect that you would leave the dial on the last command issued and return it to the stack.

Why not claim a missed opportunity? You may have forgotten, but you must set a command dial. Unless it was the last activation for the round... In regards to 3 command ships and forgetting to set the bottom one, it doesn't really matter since you would have to set them later, so you are back to 3 commands. It is kind of dishonest, because you get to see the new board state and react to that with your missed dial, and set a new one.

Nope, in two turns time you get a blank dial if you forgot.
Yep. It makes a difference if you don't set dials.
Especially as there are critical effects that can effect your
next dial...
Skilled First Officer manipulates that stack... If you can SFO a bad dial down to a Free Dial Choice, that's stupid-good.
The Rules Clearly State that, during the Command Phase, you set dials until you have a number equal to your command rating...
Nowhere does it tell you to set less because there is less turns.
You set to the command rating... Always.
Doing anything else, is cheating.

I think this is the best way to deal with it.
why it didn't came up with Vader?
I'm guessing it's because Vader lets you choose what you re-roll, not re-roll "everything".

Yep. Skilled First Officer could mean you end up using your turn 7 command on turn 6 if you use him on turn 5 or 6.
Yeah, I thought the ruling was the wrong one because it opens a path for dishonest players to gain an advantage. The ruling I've done as TO or as gentleman's agreement with an opponent outside a tournament when one of us forgets to set a dial is to set it to the last command given and return it to the stack.
I always just look at my opponents cards before we start every round to make sure his dials are flipped as well as his defence tokens. It makes things simpler.
