Push the Limit + 2x Seismic Torpedo

By ebolazaire, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Considering the below

TIE Bomber: Gamma Squadron Veteran (19)

Push The Limit (3)

Seismic Torpedo (2)

Seismic Torpedo (2)

Would the bomber be able to fire both Seismic Torpedoes in one activation phase?

I understand that you cannot perform the same action twice, which makes sense for cards that add an action option to you action bar, ie. 2x Vectored Thrusters just adds a Barrel Roll option to your bar.

I can see it as either

NO - cannot do same action twice

Or

YES - it's two different action instances

Help me forum, you're my only hope.

Push the Limit only allows an action from your action bar, so you can't use it to fire Seismic Torpedoes. You would need Experimental Interface, but it's still trying to perform the same action twice in a round.

You're right PTL won't work.

So the above with Experimental Interface is a no go?

Different instances still count as the same action?

Yes, I'm afraid they do. Back to the drawing board, young padawan. :)

Thank you,

Appreciated ;)
