Not to be obtuse but where does it say that the dot steps are interchangeable? I was just looking through the 3 documents and from what I can tell you'd have to reroll all of the dice with Veteran Gunners. Not that I doubt you but maybe a link to your thread would be helpful. I haven't really used them because of my interpretation of the rules. They would certainly be more appealing if I could use the accuracies and then reroll.

Bye first round. Stomped an Imperial squadron fleet round two. Lost to Justin round 3. Don't know round 4.

I do recall watching his loss against Justin (and he said as much) that he deployed wrong with Demolisher and ended up isolating it against Justin's Yavaris squads. He was unfortunate in that Justin rolled really hot on his squads to kill Demolisher a turn earlier than it realistically should have died.

You can keep spending accuracies that you roll due to rerolls or such, that you cause. You have to still be in the Resolve Attack Effects step...

The moment you let your opponent think about spending a defense token, and let them have that step.... Its too late.

So, Accuracies you generate through Leading Shots / Vader / Veterans / Concentrate Fire Tokens / etc etc etc... All legal to be spent to block Defense tokens...

But ones that happen because your enemy has made you Reroll with Lando / Targeting Scramblers / Evade Tokens? No Go. They cannot.

For people that didn't realize this until now, don't feel too bad. It's only relevant with the vet gunners (so far) since every other attacker reroll in the game is selective anyway.
