Do the Rebels even need the Quasar with Phoenix Home?

I have a feeling if they made the Quasar a rebel carrier with 3 speed, it would completely overshadow the Pelta.

There is literally no way the Quasar will end up being only a rebel ship. Rebels already have +1 more ship than the imperials. You expect a wave is gonna have the Hammerhead AND the Quasar for rebels? What would the Imps have? There ARE no other capital ships left at this point, If you concede that they are pulling from Rebels and other visually cannonnized formats at this point.

Hopefully we'll see some cool stuff in Rogue One.

Side note - the book Catalyst, talks about several different Imperial Capital Ships. They even mention that a Dreadnaught JUST got finished being built in a single year - but they don't go into great detail on the ship, so we don't know if it's a Katana-fleet style dreadnaught or something else altogether, because Dreadnaught is something of a generic term for a big ship.

I'm pretty sure we can expect the Tie Punjsher, Tie Droid, Tie Striker, and Inquisitors Tie soon...

I'm thinking FFG has their eye on Rogue One/Rebels material because of the timing, but one day at least I'd like to see Venators and Vindicators, not to mention the plethora of ships from the X-Wing vs Tie Fighter franchise. How awesome would squadrons of TIE Experimentals from XWA be?

I want a U-Wing squadron.

I don't expect to get that for a (looooooong) while, given that we just got another wave of squadrons.

I'm hoping for Rogue One related ships, though. I'm guessing only a couple of them.

Mel's appropriately Scaled Venator makes a great Victory replacement - definitely medium - and I'm sure Gottmituns would be happy to show it off again

And now for the exaggerated prediction:

TWELVE new squadron packs - each containing at least ONE new must-have overpowered broken mechanic you'll need to be competitive.

Also an Errata that actually removes existing ships from the game so we are back to only using Victories and Nebulons - and all squadrons with our mere 134 points of squadron points.

Would be nice to get a Tector or a true ISD-I, but neither likely. Acclamator and/or Venator would be cool. For Rebellion I suspect will be Hammerheads and possibly Quasar, as they've been a bit overdue. Don't see more squadrons until Wave 7, honestly. Wouldn't be surprised at some gunship flotillas though (brahatok, or equivalent). We'll just have to wait a bit and see though. I think with CC and the Wave 5 release they have Armada at a pretty solid place, and can sit on it a bit.
