Target lock a friend, the friend now locks a enemy. One die not playing ball reroll it with M9. A few not playing your way, Reroll them all.

This worth the time or is Targeting Astro still Dutch's friend?

M9g8s best friend is whoever can get the most value outta him, whicheans flipping locks on frirnds and foe to squeeze out as many rerolls as possible

I have tried working out clever synergies between pilots who can do TL stuff and M9-G8 without success. The wording seems pretty watertight. What matters is the ability to take multiple TLs (ARC with Gunner) or switch TLs mid-turn (e.g. Tarn or Thane).
