This really is the people's game. We go from Imperials on top at GenCon to 4 Rebel lists at Worlds.

That just means the Rebel players flew better this time!

So looks like it's Steve Forward Firepower, JJs Juggernaut, Brikhause, and Nathan (is he a forumite?) in the top 4 tomorrow! Congrats to the top four, and to everyone else who got to pay, too... Just getting to show up to this event, you're already winning!

The best part of the day for me was meeting all the forum folks in person and getting to know them a bit. JJ, Roquax, Biggs, CNinja. PT106, NathanielSmith, comatose, not the least my roomie Skycake, and many others. A fantastic bunch, each and every one.

Even if they collectively handed my tush to me.

Final standings on day 2?

For the record, it was an independant thought for the uk champ to run a sensor team flagship glad. A glorious thought.

It was a head to head finish.

Nathan had 29 points after round 3. But was playing save i guess.

And for the record:

Destroyed points from final table (nathan vs justin): 20 vs 69 in favor for justin. One transort, two squadrons and two victory token from superior position.

But even if justin would have lost the last match with 5-6 he would be in the cut because of the mov.

Kristjan came out 3rd after a great 10-1 against a team member.

I would have done the same thing as Nathan. When you know you're in with a 5-6, why risk it? You can easily botch things going for a stronger win. I am so stoked to see a pure Rebels final four. Nothing against Imperials. I'm just tired of the "Rhymer and Demolisher are OP" cries.

Rebels have been the superior force on my table for a while now, its nice to be validated as a group.

Also, unpainted fighters at the finals table should be grounds for disqualification.

Top of turn 4. The fur ball begins! Justin's Keyan and a B-wing killed JJ's leading flotilla before losing the B-wing. Justin's Dash one-shorted a full health HWK as well.
