I did, but only two for each faction. The super-swarm seems like a big gamble.

-stealth edit- Also, not surprised at a fleet with 6 TIEs getting it's crap kicked in by 8 YT-2400s. With the matchup disparity there, I have to assume the TIE Fighters were for deployment advantage.

What type of breakdown? I saw about 50/50 rebel/empire. Most squad builds, nearly all.

I am an engineer, so whatever crazy level of minute detail that can be pulled is appreciated. Post copies of every single players' fleet sheets and records, etc.

On a realistic note:

Ships and commanders for as many fleets as you see, a vague description of squad screen, and final totals would be plenty.

By my count: 17 imps, 22 rebs

I arrived and looked over the room with Skycake. For some reason I'd assumed the "half a foot between tables" comment meant the room was packed cheek by jowl - but it turns out there's plenty of room between table rows. It's just that the mats are very close to the mats on either side...

As I'm not playing tomorrow I will try to get as many details on here as I can. General thoughts from today, lots of flotillas and squads, but good variation in builds. I saw at least one of each ship in the game. I didn't have time to gather better information, but Tokra collection his during round 1 (he had 8 gozantis with a bye). I'll just put my list here too:

Edit: also, great to see the AF2 finding a niche in wave 4. The trick seems to be to keep it lean and focussed.

Thanks, I was asking about the Y's. I've finally got enough to run some silly lists and wondering what others have had success with.

The table space is very VERY crowded. Tables are 3 feet across, exactly, and each pair has maybe half a foot to one side of each play area. Some lucky folks on the fringe have about a foot. For an official ffg tourney with a $75 fee they should have done better.

Seriously? That's pretty poor for a "big deal" tourney. FOR SHAME!

I tried running ywing spam a few times. I find that the heavy squad spams comes with all the negatives of playing without squad to a certain extent and without the benefit of two extra mc30s.

Kudos to JJ, but its not for me. And thats a good thing, I will stick to Bs.

(....and YV666 tie advanced combined fleets of course)
