BACON

By Darth Tam, in X-Wing Off-Topic

I'm from Canada and we love bacon. All lf my family. It's just one of those things. Nothing like bacon, something that involves maple syrup and whatever you fancy for breakfast. The best is when a bit of maple syrup goes on your bacon.

Who else likes bacon?

Tailored Ham with egg, bacon, and cheese is wonderful.

Who else likes bacon?

Half the internet? ;)

I would recommend using the forum search tool.

That's what it's there for, after all.

But when I enter dirty words it never finds what I want.

That's for sure, eh? But yeah. We love our bacon.

Was the "eh" a joke, or is the stereotype true? :P

Lol. It is a little. It's not in every sentence, and it depends on the region and the person. But yeah, i do say it once in a while, as do others.

Yeah, an American friend of mine was working in the oil sands for a couple of years. He says a lot of the stereotypes only apply to certain regions.

Also, Felswrath, the stereotypes aren't as pronounced as in movies and whatnot. They are there, but it's not like i (or anyone lese i know) says "eh" at the end of every sentence.

And btw we don't live in igloos.

But you all do look like these guys, right? :)

Nope, sorry to disappoint. Half of us look like hockey players (ok maybe not half, but whatever), and the other half, well, not like hockey players.

At least you're not Welsh.

At least your football (soccer) team is better than ours.

At least you're not Welsh.

Hey! I have Welsh blood! For the record, though, I'm just teasing you Darth Tam. I have no problem with Canadians and do not believe the stereotypes are accurate.

I know felswrath. Sorry if i came off as a little confrontational. I actually like the jokes, and i'm sorry if you didn't pick up on my subtle bit of sarcasm. I didn't expect anyone to still think we lived in igloos.

Feel free to post canadian stereotypes and jokes about Canada, i'll probably find them funny.

Of course you don't live in igloos. It's log cabins on Canada, isn't it?
