As much as I'd like to see old uncle wrinkly and a pair of aces win it. I think we will see a dengaroo win it all.

I can't understand why though...it's not that hard to beat.

i guess a world championship will be a fine place to determine whether or not dengaroo is actually "not that hard to beat." note that this isn't some appeal to authority, rather these are actually some of the best players in the world.

I've got a feeling everyone not playing with Dengaroo will have a strategy in mind in how to beat it.

I have every confidence in my friend who's going - double Shadowcasters.

Even though it pains me to say it as it's my most hated aspect of the game...I think rebels with 1-2 regen ships and Biggs wins.

Uboats are nerfed, and norra is another strong regen ship so it seems the stars are aligned for it.

I think Rebels will win, and I doubt that Biggs will be in the list.

I first read this as which "Falcon" would win, since there are so many choices now.

I predict everyone has a 1 in 3 chance of being right.

I smell a lot of K-Wings in the coming meta...

My guess is the winning squad will again be Rebel regen, with Miranda this time (probably paired with Biggs and an ARC of some sort).

I can tell you for sure it won't be the faction I fly due to not being there... maybe in may. lol

I think all the factions have a very good chance to win and several lists that can. But one thing that is in this year that has not been in previous years is what i call 'burst damage' meaning large amounts of damage being thrown at one time. Kinda like an alpha strike just sustained over several turns (Uboats were the epitome of this pre nerf). Because of the large amounts of damage that can be dealt i do not think Rebel Regen will be as powerful as before. Don't get me wrong it is still powerful just not the be all end all anymore. Overall i think Scum will probably come out on top due to thier ability to deal with both other factions arch types (barely over Rebels imo). It will be a close final table to be sure.

I actually think that Empire will win Worlds. Palpfenders is ridiculously strong, melding the sturdiness of the Defender with the game-bending ability of Palp - and it plays so differently from standard Palpaces that it's odds-on impossible to prep for both.

My money's on Defenders,if not wining at least making up a significant portion of the cut.
