We are doing a VASSAL tournament again. This time we will also bring the US/Canada guys into the fold, but more on that and how to register in EP#37 of our podcast. Right now, I really want some feedback on when exactly we should launch. For this, I set up a small strawpoll:

Regarding the poll:

The poll mentioned that the vassal module needs to be updated. What needs to be updated on it, other than the Jabba's Realm stuff (obviously not out yet)? Are people waiting for the pre-loaded missions for the ISB Headquarters map? I'm not sure of any other updates that need to be made to it until JR is released.

I could upload a new update as early as tonight if that is all that's holding things back. Just let me know.

One other thing: Would someone from Europe or UK please let me know what your own Legal Maps list is for IA skirmish?

Nothing. The 3rd option is to play after the module has updated but not use any new Jabba's Realm content in the tournament. This would essentially delay the start of the tournament to give players a cooldown period from playing or watching Worlds.

Also I think EU also is running the US map rotation, but I'll have to ask Alistair when he is back from Worlds.

So you guys are the same as us then. That's cool. I thought that EU (Germany specifically) used a different set of maps...or at least, they used to. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

However, I think that I'll post up the new map asap...and with it will come a number of updates that I've been working on since version 7.0 (the current version) was released.

Yes, I uploaded the update tonight. It's 7.1. Jabba's Realm will be 8.0 (because it's part of Wave 8).

Bear in mind that the EU/North America divide is very artificial. In a majority of the European countries we're playing with the exact same map rotation as in North America. It's only in the countries that have localised versions of the game you'll find a difference.

Did this ever happen? Or did you decide to wait for wave 8?
