this Is a fleet I'M thinking about trying out at a local tournament

= 31 total ship cost

3 TIE Interceptor Squadrons ( 33 points)
1 Dengar ( 20 points)
3 TIE Bomber Squadrons ( 27 points)
1 Major Rhymer ( 16 points)

I would replace an Interceptor or two with Tie Advanced. You need Escort to keep Dengar alive so the Rhymer ball doesn't get locked down for crucial turns.

anything that will up the winning chance is fine

just a heads up I have the following

2x imperial half of core

2x ISD

1x VSD box for a total of 3

1x GSD

2x raiders

2x gozanti

2x Imperial fighter box

1x rogues and villains

1x C-90

1x MC-30

1x home one

1x liberty

3x leading shot loose

2x x-17 loose

not that it matters but I also have

1x rebel fighter box

1x rebel half of starter

I would change BCC to Comms Net and add Ordnance Experts on a second ISD. I would add Skilled First officer on Motti ISD.

I agree that changing one TIE/Int to TIE/Adv is a good idea.

I would give up ordnance experts and comms net and put back BCC. The first time your bombers roll a blank you'll thank me! :P

If you want dice mitigation put on leading shots instead of boosted comms. One set of boosted comms should be enough.

Suppressor to exhaust braces will help a lot.

I would quite like to see Mauler or Soontir in there.

can't see using leading shot with so few blues

Mauler and Soontir are to expensive

on the BCC removal I was just following advice from this forum :)
