Fix R4 now Deadeye is nerfed

Before the Deadeye nerf R4 fell victim to "Jumpmasters need to be stoped". out came a flow chart and R4 no longer triggers when you spend a Focus token to perform an attack. The biggest victim to this "much needed nerf" was Blaster Turret. This card was starting to see some play as Y Wings could finally make them work. Blaster Turret on Kavil was really good 4 dice out the side was so much fun and because he was PS 7 and a Y Wing the combo was in no way over powered.

Please FFG fix R4 Agromech so we can put Blaster Turret on Y Wings again

R4 wasn't nerfed just to nerf it. It was a side effect of the timing chart (and actually, a side effect of the updated rules all the way back to the TFA core et, they just didn't faq it to correclty not work until said timing chart)

I thought about this, and the better solution is to change Blaster Turret. R4 aggromech is still decent in that after the first turn of combat, it provides you with focus + target lock.

They could just make Blaster Turret have a proton torpedo-like effect where you convert an eye to a crit, or simply don't make you spend the token to fire.

R4 agro works the way it should. It is still very strong. As has been mentioned, Blaster Turret is among the number of cards that just need a straight up errata to work properly.

Yeah, r4 is still stupid on any ship that can equip it. You just can't fling mods into the aether and have them all come up your favor anymore.

R4 just lost its interaction with Deadeye and BT, that's all. So Toilet Boats had to find another droid and Kavil had to find another turret. And BT continues to suck.

Seems like some people think Stressbot can't work at all anymore thanks to the new FAQs, but I won't sweat that until I see it not work in worlds

Super technically, it doesn't, but as judges have the right to overrule the FAQ, it should continue working as it has.

only people that care about the change now is blaster users and who the hell uses blasters?

If they changed blasters to simply require you to have a focus to initiate the attack but not spend it, it'd be great.
