Scum firepower!!!

New wave, new opportunities!
The plan is simple, Fenn and Talonbane will try to get fast as close as they can and Serissu will shoot from the distance. They are all PS9 so they will most often go first.

What do you think?

One catch to your plan of having Serrisu at range and the others close is her range 1 restriction. Either they are all at range or all up close. And a cloaking, boosting Talonbane and double action Fenn will be hard for her to keep up.

I tried a three ship PS9 scum list like this:

Fenn Rau (32) - Protectorate Starfighter

Fearlessness (1), Concord Dawn Protector (1), Autothrusters (2)

Talonbane Cobra (31) - Kihraxz

Fearlessness (1), Vectored Thrusters (2)

Zuckuss (37) - G-1A Starfighter

Veteran Instincts (1), Fire Control System (2), Boba Fett (1), Cloaking Device (2), Mist Hunter (0), Stygium Particle Accelerator (2), Tractor Beam (1)

Right at 100 but is super duper fragile.

Hmmmm...I don`t like G-1A because he is a "sitting duck" :)
Serissu ability will come in handy in opening of combat until my two ships close in. That is the plan ;)

One catch to your plan of having Serrisu at range and the others close is her range 1 restriction. Either they are all at range or all up close. And a cloaking, boosting Talonbane and double action Fenn will be hard for her to keep up.

True, but I'd recommend treating her ability as a "nice bonus" - if you get the reroll, great, but most of the time she's 'just' a PS8 ace with a heavy laser cannon.

One warning - when you've got a list made purely of PS8-9 aces in snubfighters, a bid for initiative is very important. Aces who have to move before their opponent can have a rough time of it.

If you want to hold Serissu off, where she doesn't need to do hard maneuvers, PS8 might well be enough - in which case you can be a bit more flamboyant with the upgrades - Attani Mindlink is a scum-only option which takes stress out of the equation - making it a lot easier to consider Koiogran turning with Talonbane Cobra, for example, and reducing your vulnerability to stress and stress/damage tricks.

I recently played the G-1A with 4-LOM paired with a Zuckuss-Firespray and had a blast. The idea is that 4-LOM sheds his stress to the Firespray constantly which makes the G1-A much more maneuverable and much less of a sitting duck. If you add the G1-A title to get barrel rolls it's even better and that way you'd also have a tractor beam on it for the control aspect. The Firespray accumulated lots of stress by using Zuckuss anyway but compensated with "Wired" as EPT so I would get rerolls. That combination has been lots of fun and killed even aces.

This is what i've got going. The G1-A is a love/hate for me currently. He does his job then dies or does half his job, then dies
