Warlock's Woes mini expansion.

By Bludgeon, in Talisman Home Brews

Here's my small expansion. It's theoretically complete, athough I'm 100% sure there are errors to be ironed out. That's what I need your help with.

What is it?

Warlock's Woes replaces the Quest and Reward deck system with a new one, while introducing Epic characters from the 2nd edition of Talisman.

What's in it?

52 new Quest cards that are also reward cards.

13 Epic characters one can become by completing certain quests.

49 optional Adventure and Dungeon cards to help even out the distribution of rare enemy types.

8 optional Relic cards. Some quests reward characters with relics, and 4 might not be enough.

What do I need?

WW requires Cataclysm, and all 4 corner board expansions. One or two optional Adventure cards will require Blood Moon night and day mechanic.

Enjoy,

I have liked the idea of Epic Characters in the past editions. The trick has always been making them worth the effort, but not making them OP.

That said I do like the Crime Boss; if you have a character that needs lots of gold, its an obvious choice. The Clairvoyant, I like also but I would make the "unaffected by spells" ability cost something (like a fate). Its been my experience that this can be overpowered if all the other characters are spell casters, or even if you are.

Thanks. I just printed everything and will try to start playtesting this weekend.
