"Snap" Wexley 4 actions without stress?

By Gorgias, in X-Wing Rules Questions

"Snap" Wexley ability says: "After You execute a 2-, 3-, or 4- speed maneuver, if you are not touching a ship, you may perform a free boost action". So, It's possible to perform 4 actions in this sequence: "Snaps" with Push the limit and BB-8.

Declares a 2- or a 3- green movement. Triggers BB-8 and performs a Barrel. (1st action), triggers PTL and performs a, for exemple, a focus action (2nd action). Then performs de maneuver. As a green maneuvers, takes off the tension. Then triggers Snap's ability and performs a Boost action "3rd action", and finally, performs his action, for exemple a Target Lock.

4 actions, no stress.

Is it correct?

Yep, that's legit. You can do 3 with Pattern Analyser, for the record.

Yes, you can.

But that's very situational as you have to plan your move perfectly to allow both barrell and boost, hoping not to be blocked everywhere during the whole move

A) Everything in this game is situational.

B) Doing a BR / Boost isn't really that hard to do. It doesn't really take much pre-planning at all. We've been doing it since TIE/Ints came out.

What i meant is that even if you get four actions, your barrell MUST be the first and your boost the last: pretty different from an Interceptor or Jake who can choose the order they prefer

Ah, right. Yes, that's correct too.
