Less then 3 players?

By Lazer Knees, in WFRP Rules Questions

I have ordered the core set and adventurers tool kit and am awaiting the new game eagerly.

My question is what if I dont have 3 players? I am sure I have 2 (and I make 3), but do the rules allow for shifting the number of players? I have seen on other posts about there not being enough cards for more then three players, but what about less then three, is it easy to scale the adventures and challenges? Do party (sheets??) depend on a set number of players?

Sorry if this has been covered. I searched and read the FAQ, honest.

Should be okay, Most of the adventures will require some scaling but I recall maybe the intro or demo scenario mentioning # henchmen = PCs so thats easy enough.

basically its like any other RPG you need to tailor it to your group, smaller or bigger only with less players you won't have as many people all wanting the same cards so less stress on that count.

With all the dice pools and cards etc on the table this is a good game for smaller groups, I was going for two players but we are old enough to have teenage kids who want to start playing so I am using this game as an intro to RPGs pushing the group to 4 players and GM.

I have run all of my campaigns with two players and I have already started running WFRP 3 with only two players so its not too much of a problum. Though my main advice is not to use large combats becuase when my group played An Eye for an Eye adventure they had a hard time with the combat parts. If you have a hard time balancing things let the characters that have more money hire mercenaries (both of the characters in my game are affluent and have a few mercenaries).

I am pretty sure I had enough cards in my set for 5 players. and I ran a game for 3 players just last night. Good times and hilarity ensued as they both nearly died (the wizard nearly blew himself up not my doing, hehe).
