So this worked yesterday. It is definitely a glass cannon, and I don't trust it to win consistently, but it sure was fun even when I thought for certain that I was going to lose.

I faced Nera Dantels with Plasmas, Extra Munitions, FCS, Chips; 2 Autoblaster Turret Y-Wings; and a Blue Squadron B-Wing.

My best result with Norra was 6 hits/crits (I don't remember how many of each). I never got that 7 result I was hoping for, but plenty of 5's and 6's.

Predator did a lot of work in this game because 3 of my opponent's ships were PS 2, so I was able to reroll Finn's blank die plus another blank. R7-T1 worked really well too, allowing me to dodge an arc on two separate occasions, while grabbing a TL on the way.

Biggs doesn't offer much protection when facing torpedoes, which is unfortunate.

Still, there was a lot of luck involved in that game as well. Norra survived a range 3 shot when she was down to 1 hull point left. If she had died on that shot, I almost certainly would have lost the game.

Maybe it's a little too early in the morning for me, but how are you getting 7 red dice on Norra?

Jan Ors' ability, I'd guess.

Norra with Expose, EI, Finn, Overhaul could get 8 hits with Jan Ors (you can give her Squad Leader to make sure Norra gets a TL and a focus) and a ship with M9-G8 on it for the Finn reroll. I would never run such a list but there you go, an 8 attack Norra.

Norra only has a base attack rating of 2 so not sure how you are getting 8? Norra (2) + 1 title + 1 range 1 + 1 Finn + 1 Expose + 1 Jan Ors = 7?

Miranda - Homing Missile - LRS

4 from homing + 1 from Jan Ors + 1 from ability (Not 7 but that is a focus/target locked secondary weapon that locks out an evade token and can be fired from range 2 - 3 so may as well be 7 from Soontir's standpoint)

Option 2:

Miranda - Adv. Protons - LRS

5 from Adv. Protons + 1 from ability + 1 from Jan Ors (should be 7 hits with all the modifiers, range 1 only though)

Option 3:

Ghost with Finn + Rey + FCS

Ghost has 4 standard + 1 from range 1 + 1 from Jan Ors + 1 from Finn. That's seven. Rey provides the focus and you target lock for that round. Seven dice, double modified. Range 1 only but 6 dice from range 2 - 3 isn't shabby either.

If you can find a way to also have TL + Focus, Norra can spend the TL to add a focus result, giving that eighth die. But you also need a way to reroll Finn's blank for it to count as anything. That's why I considered my original build to be a seven-dice build. And it really is quite likely to get 6 results, and 7 results is more common than one might guess (17.8%; actually slightly higher vs. PS 2 ships because Predator allows a reroll of Finn's blank plus one more).

Her ability gives an extra focus result, Squad Leader on Jan gives her a TL and focus, and M9-G8 on whoever let's her reroll Finn. I never said it was good, just possible.
