Man...Hvy Scyk w/ Mangler is the same price as Khiraxz, but you get 3 green dice vs 2 and one of your hits turns into a crit. The only thing missing is -1 Hull point and the ability to take an Illicit.

Also less dice at Range 1.

A 19pt Kihraxz would allow five of the PS2's with Slicer Tools. That would be a fun list.

Mmm, Scyk will still better. Maybe any titile which works on illicit?

The simple Kidbdnsjxnfndk fix is to have a free illict card that allows a droid.

Or free 2 point Illicit. That would really make the Khirasldknkd a very useful filler ship. Powerful, ways to deal with aces. Maneuverable! I think I'm gonna make that a house rule actually...

K is also a better missile carrier with GC, gets a crit as 3-base attack.

The flip side of that is that your opponent doesn't get an extra green die at range 3. I'd call that a wash.

But then it's not the "same price".

That is true, saying that it can missile and then go back to fighting very comparably to a Mangler Scyk. The Scyk doesn't have that option

But 4 dice does give it the ability to power through higher Agility ships defences, 3 dice is always going to have issue against certain ships.

They used the most recent FAQ to add a Hull point to the Heavy Scyk title, at no additional cost. It is a lovely and simple direct buff.

They also made Deadeye small ship only at the same time. (I only mention this as it was another balance adjustment)

Against 3+ agility with tokens, yes. So we are talking about Aces or Brobots.

Or Scyks, A-Wings or Tie Fighters... All 3 are flown at low PS, so it's better against them...

The real issue with the K-Fighter is it's just so average, same issue the X-Wing has.

Or Scyks, A-Wings or Tie Fighters... All 3 are flown at low PS, so it's better against them...The real issue with the K-Fighter is it's just so average, same issue the X-Wing has.

Don't think you need any effort to pass any A/Tie/Scyk defense. Plus, Tie and Scyk really hates crits (Mangler).

Anyway, I tried 2K+3Mango yesterday and....it works. Jousting, 2K in front to bring R1 and tank some damages, 3 Mango back using R2-3 cannons.

Still, I prefer 5 Mango

In my experience against them, they still pop like popcorn. The fix helped, but they context isnt too favorable

It worked fine for me this weekend. Out of the 8 games, 4 they lived with 1 hull after their first pass and finished the game.

Played 2 games using a TPV with HLC in a PS5 Mindlink list. In one game he missed bumping Rey by less than a miliimetre, she had Finn and managed to one shot him in arc... The other game, Cluster Mines dropped two templates on him. I rolled Hit, Hit for the first one, and Hit Crit for the second one. The 2016 FAQ giveth, and the 2016 FAQ taketh away...

But apart from him just going pop, twice, it's been an effective sniper and people actually have to worry about him. Takes the heat off Palob!

Played another casual game with my Syck'ers and the Mist:

3 x TPV, Mindlink, mangler

1 x Gand Findsman, title, tractor, boba feta, electronic baffle, score to settle (proxied)

against Poe regen, TLT Kyle Katarn, and a procket Jake.

My opponent best triple defenders with his list a day earlier, and was pretty confident. Against me, he had a procket shot on my G1A and took it for 5 damage including a hull breach which I shook off next turn. But the Sycks just could not be damaged by Poe with focus evade going on, and I was able to squirt through and catch the Hawk in the corner. He went down hard with no green die after being tractored. His green dice failed his Jake too, and it went down in two turns.

It's shocking how many dice a single Syck with focus-evade can suck up. My record so far is 11 red dice attacking from three attacks at one Syck, with exactly 3 damage as a result.

The title working perfectly!

Played against it on Vassal with Homing Missile Miranda, Stress Brayden and Biggs, Popped Serissu with the missile and then the rest of his ships were unable to k-turn the rest of the game due to R3-A2 and Mindlink.
