Like any game, a little research early will help tons.
But there's a decent variety of mechs.and the clan tech while amazing is not an auto win.
This game is NOT call of duty. You gotta play right or you'll drop fast.

Clan tech has the range but is can fire longer before overheating so has the edge in a brawl.
Depends on the map as well.
MW2 will always be the best MW game to me.....

I feel like I want to say COD4 for campaign, MW2 for multiplayer, but I think I'd be feluding myself.
Death From Above, War Pig and Ghillies in the Mist were amazing and all, but MW2 had SNOWMOBILE CHASES.
My 2nd most played multiplayer game of all time.
I really wanted to like MWO after so many fun times in a MW4 clan (I think it was MW4) and saw some former clan mates were signed up too...
But then I hit my max MOBA tolerance pretty quick between World of Tanks, War Thunder, World of Warships, various iterations of COD, and MWO.
Give me single-player story-driven campaigns any day over grinds for a camouflage pattern or the next bump up the power curve.
It's like the whole farce about MMOs not having enough endgame content when the journey through the story and up the levels is the content and rushing to max level kinda misses the point. MOBAs are MMO endgame content minus the journey to get there, in my eyes.
To each their own, and I have friends who are big fans of WOT and WOWS and others, so I get the allure and can see that it can be fun. Just not for me.
I really do like how they imagined the 'mechs though. They did a great job on the designs.
Anytime I can stomp around in a vulture and pretend it's 1990 at North pier in Chicago....it's a good day for me.
I remember those pods! Then they closed down and moved a few to Dave & Busters and it really sucked.
Mmo mech combats better than no combat for a decade then finally getting a console game to find it's a 3rd person arcade game not a simulator.
Mad cat? I think you mean timber wolf........

Gods, YES. If I could like this five times, I would. Storyline > Grind, because one is lazy and easy to program and the other is hard, one is a substitute for entertainment and the other IS entertainment.
