Ghost : Jyn Erso : No Torps

By MrParsons, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Does a ghost equipped with zero torps (either having fired them all or not starting with any) count ships in it's special rear arc as being in arc when using Jyn Erso?

i.e.

Action: Choose 1 friendly ship at Range 1-2. Assign 1 focus token to that ship for each enemy ship inside your firing arc at Range 1-3. You cannot assign more than 3 focus tokens in this way.

Yes (any arc is firing arc, unless the ability specifies the type of arc, i.e. mobile firing arc).

Yes.

The special arc is still an arc for the purposes of anything that mentions an arc but doesn't specify what kind, including Jyn - so, being in it at range 1-2 stops Autothrusters working even against the turret shots, being in it at range 1 activartes Fearlessness and Concord Dawn Protector, range 2 Tactician, etc etc etc.

Whether you can use it to shoot with is irrelevant to the matter.

Thank you for the quick replies. I thought that was the case but couldn't find anything to confirm it.

FAQ, pg 19:
Q: Do firing arcs that are not primary firing arcs (such as an
auxiliary, mobile, or special firing arc) count as firing arcs
for card abilities such as “Backstabber” or Outmaneuver?
A: Yes.
