I am facing regularly this scums build (sorry I forgot one of the improvements but the real list is 100 pts) and find it quite difficult to counter as the 2 protectorates have high PS of 9, high agility and mobility, plus the tanky firespray is successfully protecting them from my first shots
Fenn Rau (31) - Protectorate Starfighter Push The Limit (3)
Old Teroch (28) - Protectorate Starfighter Veteran Instincts (1), Concord Dawn Protector (1)
Mandalorian Mercenary (38) - Firespray-31 Recon Specialist (3)
So far I tried a whisper + defender list :
"Whisper" (44) - TIE Phantom
Veteran Instincts (1), Fire Control System (2), Gunner (5), Advanced Cloaking Device (4)
Colonel Vessery (39) - TIE Defender
Veteran Instincts (1), TIE/D (0), Ion Cannon (3)
Epsilon Squadron Pilot (16) - TIE/FO Fighter Primed Thrusters (1)
But as a recent player I find it rather difficult to keep the phantom at range 2 and maintain the 2 small ships in my firing arc since they always move after me...
So I thought of trying this :
Rear Admiral Chiraneau (62) - VT-49 Decimator Veteran Instincts (1), Gunner (5), Ysanne Isard (4), Dauntless (2), Engine Upgrade (4)
Colonel Vessery (38) - TIE Defender

I thought it might be easier for someone not too skilled like me to use instead of the previous.
I have also seen the post on Decimator + Ryad very interesting, but how about the added control of Vessery for my specific opponents ?
