Rules and Strategy questions on resolving dice

By profparm, in Star Wars: Destiny

I'm rereading the rules with anticipation, and it says that you resolve damage dice one at a time (excluding modifiers).

1. Does this mean that if I have 3 ranged damage dice, none of them modifiers, and I try to assign them all to Dooku, he can discard up to 3 cards to gain 3 shields during my action?

2. Since I resolve them one at a time, I assume I get to see if my opponent uses responses like Dooku after each individual die before deciding where the next one goes?

3. Against people like Qui-Gonn, are people on TTS resolving enough damage to remove his shields to him and then sending the rest at his more vulnerable companion?

4. On TTS, are people ever choosing to not resolve all of a single die for action economy/stall purposes, so that they can make a single dice pool last longer and bait their opponent in to claiming the battlefield, or is that a wasteful tactic?

I'm not trying out any TTS so I appreciate any insight from those who've gotten a chance to play. Thanks!

1) Yes, you are resolving 3 dice individually, so Dooku can pitch 1 card per die you resolve.

2) Yes, the opponent resolves each die separately so they pitch 1 card for each die, then moves on to the next die.

3) This question is not totally clear. Can you explain it?

4) This depends on a LOT of things. Its never a single answer.

I can recommend checking out the KOR discord channel, we have people playing on TTS all day and they have a lot of experience with these questions and can give you 100+ people to give you information you're looking for. https://discord.gg/8z5mKRB

Thanks for your responses!

On question 3, it seems that in general people want to focus fire down one target before moving on to the next, BUT, since qui Gon gets a bonus for having shields, is it better to remove his shields and then focus on the other, weaker target? This is also just strategy stuff I could wait to try out firsthand, but I'm curious what other people are doing. :) . Thanks!

PS I thought that the discord channel was just a "LFG" thing, I will definitely check it out.
