Posting lists and winners

By MadFuhrer, in Imperial Assault Organized Play

Is posting lists and placings a thing here, or is that more shunned? I personally would like to see what people are winning with and what isn't do some well, and the different "metas" from different regions.

Some people don't like net-listing for fear that people will just play what's 'best'. But I think we have enough variety and good options at this point, so that should be not a problem. Some people might be coy going into worlds but we'll probably see lots of info from that.

I like it too. It promotes discussion. If a specific list emerges as a 'No Brainer Win All', its not the community at fault, it's more of an issue with the game. EVERY gamer looks for the Most Efficient x Points to Damage x (Insert their style of play) mega list.

I winning list doesn't play itself. I never walked up to a table, showed my <insert game name> list and dropped my mic. A good list still needs to be played well.

Talking about lists and strategy promotes a smarter community and higher competition Let the 'Covetous' players lead lonely lives in the shadows of our camaraderie.

Play wicked smaht!

posting list is a good thing.
