ZOMG!!!!
Notice it said later this year
It is our swan song.
Because Armada is dead you see.
huh, there isn't a "stomp your opponents into the ground" prize...
Everything you get is just for having fun!?
Hallelujah!!
Interesting! This gives the option for people to get a couple of the CC cards without buying the kit themselves. Makes me wonder if they'll do more kits like this throughout the year to do more alt art of the squads or promote it more.

don't you still need the cardboard insert to play the figures in "serious business" tournaments?

Wait.....maybe not. Unsure.
Edited by Card KnightPretty sure Corellian Conflict will be available at Worlds.
So what do we think of the Rank badge and text at the bottom of the Objective Card?

"At the conclusion of a campaign, each player will receive a copy of the new objective card Fighter Ambush printed with a unique mark that identifies the faction that player fought for during his or her campaign."

I wouldn't be surprised at all. I'm curious if it'll even be available before then so its legal for the first round of Regionals the following weekend.

Logical deduction.
FFG has a pattern of early releases at major events. They have made products for other lines available early at Worlds before.
They do this by air freighting a small shipment over early.
When FFG releases a product early they will release a series of preview articles so that most everything is spiked before it gets into the wild. Look at GenCon as an example. Waves 3/4 were fully spoiled right before a GenCon release.
Currently FFG is spoiling Corellian Conflict, X-Wing Wave X, and the new IA products with a timing of having the preview articles done the week of Worlds. This all points to pre-release sales of those products at Worlds.l based on past behaviors.
That is why I feel it is pretty likely.

Future being always in motion is the problem
I'm honestly a little underwhelmed by it, and weekly bonuses in addition to the participation prizes would have a gone a long way. For example, determining best weekly performances (round winners) and giving out an extra alt-art, and then having a prize for winning. The kit just seems incredibly small.
But making these kits Organized Play is a good bit genius. Because you need official components to do OP. And they expanded fleet totals to 500 for the campaign. Meaning (presumably) some people will buy the little bit more they need to jump from 400 to 500 competitive points. So no proxies, like in the home environment. And home players would also be greatly encouraged to at least grab an extra fighter pack
It's not even on the boat so would be surprised if it were at worlds, but can cross fingers!
