CC gets its own kit!

I'm honestly a little underwhelmed by it, and weekly bonuses in addition to the participation prizes would have a gone a long way. For example, determining best weekly performances (round winners) and giving out an extra alt-art, and then having a prize for winning. The kit just seems incredibly small.

But making these kits Organized Play is a good bit genius. Because you need official components to do OP. And they expanded fleet totals to 500 for the campaign. Meaning (presumably) some people will buy the little bit more they need to jump from 400 to 500 competitive points. So no proxies, like in the home environment. And home players would also be greatly encouraged to at least grab an extra fighter pack

Considering the fact that you get FREE STUFF for doing something you were already going to do, I'd say the contents are plenty enough. ;)

True. I suppose that casual gamers would be plenty happy just playing a supported campaign and getting some free stuff. And an FLGS could also offer their own prize support through buy-ins and store credit or something like that. Having a buy-in would also help to ensure consistent participation and increase the level of play for serious campaigners. But I'm thinking as a competitive player.

Just had a random thought, but how fun would it be to play a campaign, and midway through wave 5 drops, and you can add the new ships and squadrons into the campaign! Like the R&D labs have "new" tech for each side!

Back on topic, I love the idea of an organized kit, hopefully I'll be able to have a store nearby that runs an event!
