(sorry only pic i could get on here had both on it)

by my reading of this,

If i had a gr75 transport near a token that is un-challenged, do i gather an attack pool of (-) dice and there fore have control over it? im trying to see if this would be the best objective for me or not

obviously if it was contested i would lose as i have no dice, but can i control it in the first place?

A GR-75 transport has no dice to apply to Fire Lanes, so could not claim any tokens. A combat retrofit could though.

It does, however, have command value, so it can readily claim the station for you. Until something bigger comes along that is :D

I've used Gozantis for this as Imps, using the flotilla to claim it for rounds 1-2 for example, before bigger fish moves in.

GK's got this one.

You cannot contest or claim any fire lanes tokens - because, as you say, you have a battery die value of (-).

If you could contest with that, then your opponent, on the other side of the table, could rightly argue that being out of range and having (0) dice would let them contest them at the same time. So let us not deal with that crazyness...

And as for Contested Outpost - you are working with command values, and the smallest command value is 1 - so Flotillas certainly count for that.

Just slap enhanced armaments and/or spinal turbolasers on that clam-puppy and you're golden!

With Duct Tape.

Since it doesn't have the Slot.

Yeah I know, but the idea of a clam loaded with guns and batteries all over it was very comical...very... Dakka!
