hey all,
Long time lurker, first time poster...
So, my wife got me into this game a few years back and it awoke a beast inside of me that had been asleep since my teen years, but my time playing is vastly outweighed by the amount of time I have spent painting the miniatures. It also soon outweighed my amount of storage space and the size of collection I wanted, so I have been selling most of these painted mini's along the way, then repainting another for myself. Then selling that. Along the way we moved across country and (**** you, PODS!) they lost not only my airbrush but all my paints and a bunch of my models and I was very disheartened for a while (and didn't paint anything) but now I have replaced what was lost and started painting again, and my soul has been soothed again ![]()
Here are some excerpts from my work. All feedback is HUGELY valued, particularly around tips and styles. Thanks in advance!

1. My first attempt at anything was at a "Black One". I was loving the game but wanted the same color ship I had seen elsewhere for Poe and, luckily, i lived close enough to a Games Workshop that I was able to grab some black, orange and a brush, and away I went.

2. My 2nd attempt at a Poe - I got adventurous enough to add an optical sensor for BB-8 and some engine glow.

3. who doesn't want to grunge up a YT-1300?

4. Kath, in all her Scarlet Glory.

5. Nashta Pup #1. i know it's a crappy build but I love playing the YV-666 with the Hound's Tooth title and decided to make my own Pup.

7. I have yet to win a match with a K-Wing but I really do enjoy looking at them.

8. Nashta Pup #2. I am not quite sure what it is but I really like doing the Pup. Doesn't hurt that people keep buying them so I keep getting to practice.

9. A YT-2400. It would be rude not to, no?
